A new anime is being released Oct. 11, 2022 to Crunchyroll called Chainsaw Man. The animation studio of this show is Mappa, who has also worked on Attack On Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen, Vinland Saga, and Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. Many fans are worried that the animators will be overworked as a result of some drama that occurred earlier this year about Mappa’s tight schedule and overburden on the animators.

A unique addition to Chainsaw Man is, for each ending, there will be a new song. Something to note is that the Chainsaw Man manga is still ongoing, so beware of filler that could happen. For squeamish people, you shouldn’t watch this anime due to how graphic it is. There has been a lot of excitement about Chainsaw Man due to so many of its extremely gory manga panels. From what we have seen in the trailers, a lot of effort was put into this anime.

Here is what to expect from Chainsaw Man: The story is based on a teenager named Denji and his pet, Chainsaw Devil, that looks like a dog. They try to survive and get out of debt to the Yakuza. After a long day of work, the Yakuza breaks down his door and kills him. Then, Denji and the Devil make a contract – turning Denji into an immortal Chainsaw Devil.

As we near the first episode of Chainsaw Man, we have now learned the voice actors for dub. The enormous reception for the voices was of love, showing the anime will end up being one of the greatest ever released. Now the question lies in whether it will live up to the hype, and my guess is it will.
