STEM Cell community links alumni to students

WEB EXCLUSIVE

Bioscience teacher Kathy Savage created the new STEM Cell community for everyone interested in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) careers. Alumni will come back to campus to share their experiences.

“Our first returning alumnus will be Francisco Sotomayor, Ph.D., who graduated in 2007 and is currently working as an environmental engineer supporting the chemisorption, vapor sorption and the high pressure gas sorption analyzers product portfolio for Anton Paar Instruments,” Savage said. “Francisco will be speaking here Sept. 7 in my classroom (12-002) after school. I would love to encourage any student interested in engineering to attend.”
