Carla Chavez Ramirez is a sophomore originally from Monterrey, Mexico, who has lived in the US for almost nine years. When she’s not reviewing movies, Carla runs with the OHS XC or Track team and directs the Environmental Club. On weekends, Carla enjoys painting at the mall or volunteering and thrifting at the Hope Chest. She’s been writing since she was seven, with her first creative work being an illustrated knockoff Cinderella story. You might also catch her at concerts with her family or awkwardly dancing with friends at school events.
