On Saturday. February 1st, 2025, FFCC Indoor held their first competition at Cypress Creek High School. Oviedo went up against other groups in the Winds circuit, and won second place to Oakleaf High School. Whilst not receiving first place overall, Oviedo placed first for Best Musical Performance and took home critique from professional judges; this will be used to adjust their show, setting them up for success for nationals.

He will be taking on the position of ePathways Facilitator at the district level and helping build CTE programs across the county. Though he is changing positions, Patterson doesn’t see his new job as a career change, but rather a logical next step. “It’s gotten to a point where I feel like there’s a lot of stuff that I have yet to learn that I want to be able to learn. I’m gonna need to step into a new position to do that,” Patterson said.
