“Believe It” Album Art

Rihanna is an immensely celebrated artist who has released over ten music albums since her first record deal in 2005. Having held many Billboard and Top 10 hits, her fans have been patiently waiting for her new album to release. Rihanna’s first song in three years, “Believe It” is a collaboration with a Canadian born rapper, PARTYNEXTDOOR. It’s a small glimmer of hope for her fans, but definitely a song I’d recommend for anyone who loves the singer’s older classics.

“Believe It” has a moderately slow tempo which gives off the “driving at 2 a.m. with your best friends” type of vibe. The song features Rihanna as support vocals as well as the chorus of the song. The vocals present in this song are similar to her first albums, such as “Good Girl Gone Bad” and “Music of the Sun,” but distinctly different from her most recent album, “Anti” from 2016.

Rihanna has been teasing her followers about a new album, dubbed “R9” that has yet to be released. Rihanna has hinted towards her album being finished for two years now on both Twitter and Facebook.

This new music may just be a tease for her fans, but there’s definitely no better time for an album drop than during the Covid-19 quarantine.
